The year the date was revised, then arrived a day later anyway
If you are checking a 2022 date against an old calendar, check it twice. MOM first gazetted Hari Raya Puasa 2022 as Monday 2 May. On 21 October 2021 MUIS announced revised dates, after the Islamic authorities of Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore agreed to adopt revised criteria for the astronomical calculation behind the Islamic calendar from 2022 onwards (MUIS, 21 October 2021). MOM re-gazetted the same day: Hari Raya Puasa became Tuesday 3 May 2022, Hari Raya Haji stayed on Sunday 10 July, and Labour Day, which fell on Sunday 1 May, was observed on Monday 2 May (MOM, 21 October 2021).
Worth knowing if you are pulling the data yourself: the consolidated public-holiday dataset on data.gov.sg still carries the superseded April 2021 list for 2022, with Hari Raya Puasa on 2 May. The dates on this page follow MOM's final gazette instead.
Then the crescent had the last word. At sunset on 29 Ramadan the Office of the Mufti and falak experts attempted a physical sighting and failed, with the western horizon overcast. Singapore fasted a thirtieth day on Monday 2 May and celebrated on Tuesday 3 May, while several MABIMS neighbours celebrated a day earlier. The Mufti's office published a clarification explaining that all four countries applied the same method and that each result was valid in its own context (Office of the Mufti, 2 May 2022).
Prayer that morning ran across 66 mosques with 153,250 spaces, sessions at 7.30am and 8.45am and a walk-in third session at selected mosques, all still by booking (MUIS, 22 April 2022).

The two fell 68 days apart in 2022. That interval is not fixed: Aidilfitri is 1 Syawal and Aidiladha is 10 Zulhijjah, and the two Islamic months in between can each run 29 or 30 days, so the gap moves between about 67 and 70 days. That start is worked back from the gazetted Aidilfitri date, not gazetted itself. MUIS announces the confirmed start the evening before the month begins, so it can differ by a day.
